And then we go south...

OK so the last few weeks have been a little hectic which is why I have yet to get around to posting anything about our trip south that we took IN JULY!!!

So first we headed to Hot-lanta to visit Hart and Heidi in their lovely new home which is just a few blocks from Turner Field. (Tim very quickly realized you can see Turner Field from their back porch - even more excited than he was before.)

Turns out we didn't take all that many pictures in Atlanta, but that's OK because Heidi is an awesome photographer and took amazing pictures! Go HERE to check them out! (Well, actually Tim did take quite a few pictures at the aquarium but they are mostly of really big fish and sharks. No pictures of US at the aquarium...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that most of you aren't that interested in seeing those. I'm still working on getting Tim to take pictures of things with us/people in front of them rather than just pictures of things...this is why we have very few pictures of us on our honeymoon but TONS of pictures of everything we saw.) Anyway...

After funs times in the ATL we headed over to Wilmington, NC to visit Laura (Tim's sister) where Isabelle got to go to the beach for the first time! We arrived in the afternoon so I think it was about 5pm when we made it to the beach. She seemed to enjoy it until she realized that her diaper was wet from the waves (we didn't plan too well for that one) and the sand was blowing and sticking to her. Got her cleaned up and all was well again. We had a nice dinner at a restaurant right on the beach.

Our next stop was Virginia Beach to visit Katherine (my sister). It was quite hot the day we were there so we only went out to the beach on the bay (2 blocks from where Katherine lives) long enough to see the water and take a picture.

It was a great trip and I think we now feel pretty comfortable traveling with Isabelle and ALL HER STUFF!! Next step is to try flying . . .
